How it works
Three simple steps
Choose a gift
Pick the level that suits you. Your gift is taken monthly by card or standing order.
Meet your child
Within a few weeks you receive a profile — first name, age, region and their hopes — prepared with the family's consent.
Follow their progress
Twice a year we share an update on their schooling and wellbeing, and you can write to them through us.

Sponsorship FAQ
Does all of my money go to the child?
Your gift funds the child's care and the local partner who delivers it. Our UK team is entirely voluntary, so no UK salaries are taken from donations.
Can I choose a boy or a girl?
You can express a preference, and we will do our best to match it. Girls are often hardest to keep in education, so many sponsors choose to support a girl.
Can I send gifts or visit?
For the child's safety we cannot pass on physical gifts or arrange visits, but you are welcome to send letters and photos through us. We can also direct one-off gifts to the child's household.
What happens if I need to stop?
Just email us. There is no minimum term. We will find another sponsor so the child's support continues.
Is my sponsorship eligible for Gift Aid?
Yes, if you are a UK taxpayer. Tick the Gift Aid box when you give and we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 at no cost to you.
